A team of 4 engineering apprentices, Rhys Donald, Matthew Reily, Reece Bell and Kieran Drew, represented the Ford Engineering Group in a Live interview on BBC Breakfast with Steph McGovern to discuss training schemes they have completed within Ford Engineering.
The Ford Engineering Academy, in which all four apprentices have successfully completed, offers two practical courses, both designed to give you the key skills employers look for and to help you to build the experience and qualifications you need to secure an apprenticeship.
The advanced apprenticeship scheme offers a National Vocational Qualification in Mechanical Engineering Technologies at Level 3. Students learn trades such as Quality Inspection, Advanced Manual Milling/Turning, Auto CAD, Electronics, Phnematics, Welding and Computer Numerical Control Programming.
