FUNCTION
To technically support operations by developing, optimising and improving manufacturing processes (CNC Machining, presswork, laminate) to enhance productivity, quality and safety.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvements and recommend appropriate solutions
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics, cycle time, rates per hour, yield and scrap and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets
- Provide technical support to resolve process related issues
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures
- To assist in New Product Introduction and provide manufacturing and technical expertise
- To produce CNC programs for a variety of machine tools
- Collaborate with Team Leaders, manufacturing team members and build relationships with tooling suppliers
- Participate and implement improvement programs and initiatives using Lean Manufacturing strategies
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in production technologies, methodologies and best practise

- Ensure all safety rules and standards are adhered to
- Ensure correct Personal Protective Equipment is worn at all times when required in line with company procedures
- Commitment and ongoing support to the company’s LEAN programme
- Comply with the Company’s Attendance Management policy
- Provide holiday/absence cover for other roles/tasks as and when required
- Fulfil any other duties as required for your job role
- Flexibility to travel as and when required
- Hold a full clean driving licence
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Significant experience in a Manufacturing / Process Engineering role
- Familiar with AutoCAD and 3D CAD modelling
- Adept at working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience on CAD/CAM systems (Solidworks/Alphacam/Catia)

Shifts:
Note: we operate a 4 day working week (37.5hours)
- Day Shift – Monday to Wednesday – 07:00 to 17:00 & Thursday 07:00 to 16:30
- Earlies – Monday to Wednesday – 06:00 to 16:00 & Thursday 06:00 to 15:30
- Lates – Monday to Wednesday – 13:00 to 23:00 & Thursday 13:00 to 22:30
